Terms of Service

1. Service Description
Ramunap provides B2B IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) pinning and storage services. Our platform allows businesses to upload, store, and manage files with enterprise-grade reliability and transparent, subscription-based billing.
Services include:
- •File storage and pinning to IPFS network
- •HTTP and API access to stored content
- •Usage analytics and monitoring
- •Technical support and documentation
- •Monthly invoicing with itemised charges
2. Billing and Payment Terms
Usage-Based Pricing
You pay only for what you use. All operations (storage, bandwidth, API requests) are metered in real-time and reflected in your monthly invoice.
Billing Cycles and Invoicing
Invoices are issued monthly, detailing all charges incurred during the billing period.
- Initial Invoice: Due upon receipt. Payment is required to activate service.
- Subsequent Invoices: Issued monthly in advance. Service continues throughout the payment period.
Payment Terms
- Initial Payment: Due immediately upon invoice receipt. Payment activates your service.
- Subsequent Payments: Net-30 terms apply. Payment is due 30 days from invoice date.
Late Payment
Late payments may incur interest charges at the rate of 5% per annum above the German base interest rate, or as permitted by law.
VAT and Reverse Charge
For EU businesses: If you provide a valid VAT ID, the reverse charge rule applies (you are responsible for VAT). For non-EU businesses, applicable taxes will be calculated at checkout.
3. Service Level Agreement
Service availability targets (SLA) vary by plan:
- Standard plan
- 99.0% uptime guarantee
- Professional plan
- 99.5% uptime guarantee
- Enterprise plan
- Custom SLA, up to 99.95%
SLA credits are the sole remedy for service disruptions. SLA does not apply to outages caused by customer actions, third-party services, or force majeure events.
4. User Obligations
- •You are responsible for all content you upload. You warrant that you have the right to upload and distribute all files.
- •You must not upload illegal content, malware, or material that violates third-party intellectual property rights.
- •You must maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys.
- •You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- •You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
4.5 Prohibited Content
You must not use the Service to upload, distribute, or otherwise transmit any of the following content:
- •Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content depicting minors in sexual contexts
- •Malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious code designed to damage or disrupt systems
- •Copyright-infringing material uploaded without authorisation from rights holders
- •Content promoting violence, terrorism, or extremism
- •Hate speech or content discriminating against protected groups
- •Personal data or sensitive information belonging to others without consent
- •Illegal content under the laws of the European Union or the user's jurisdiction
Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension of your account and termination of the Service without refund.
10. Notice-and-Action Procedure (DSA Article 16)
Reporting Illegal or Prohibited Content
If you discover content you believe violates these Terms or applicable laws, you may submit a report via our abuse report form at /report-abuse.
Please provide:
- • The CID (content identifier) of the reported content
- • The nature of the violation (e.g., CSAM, malware, copyright)
- • Detailed description of why the content violates these Terms
- • Any supporting evidence or documentation
- • Your contact information (optional, for updates)
Review Timeline
We commit to reviewing submitted reports within 7 days of receipt. For reports involving CSAM or terrorism, we prioritise review and may take action within 24 hours.
Outcome Notification
If you submitted a report with your email address, we will notify you of our decision and the action taken (if any).
Appeals
If your content was blocked, you may appeal the decision within 30 days at /report-appeal. Your appeal will be reviewed by a different team member. We will respond within 30 days.
11. Automated Content Scanning
Scanning Methods
All uploaded files are automatically scanned using the following methods:
- • Malware detection: ClamAV antivirus scanning to detect viruses, trojans, and other malicious code
- • Hash-based blocking: Comparison against databases of known illegal content (CSAM, malware hashes)
- • File integrity: Verification of file structure and format
Content Access During Scanning
Files are typically scanned within minutes of upload. During scanning, content may be temporarily inaccessible. Once scanning is complete, clean files are immediately available for download.
Flagged Content
If a file is flagged as potentially containing malware or illegal content, it will be quarantined pending manual review by our team. You will be notified via email if your content is flagged.
User Rights (DSA Article 52)
You have the right to:
- • Receive notification if your content is flagged or blocked
- • Understand the reason for the action taken
- • Appeal any decision about your content within 30 days
- • Request manual human review of an automated decision
12. Transparency Reporting
We publish biannual transparency reports detailing the number of reports received, content removed, accounts suspended, and average response times. These reports are available at /transparency.
5. Termination and Cancellation
Customer Termination
You may cancel your account at any time with no long-term commitment. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the billing period.
Ramunap Termination
We may terminate your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay invoices after 30 days, or engage in abusive behaviour. Termination notice will be provided via email.
Data After Termination
Upon account termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.
6. Limitations of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ramunap's liability for direct damages is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
This limitation does not apply to liability arising from fraud, gross negligence, or violations of mandatory statutory provisions.
7. Modifications to These Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Notification of material changes will be sent to your account email. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and Germany. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany, with Berlin as the place of jurisdiction.
